They Listen to your Ideas

There have been plenty of people who come into our Showroom after going somewhere else, relieved to hear that we’d love to take out their wall or are thrilled to hear us agree that green cabinets would look awesome in their Kitchen. You would think that any Kitchen place would give you what you want! But some don’t want to take out a wall because it “opens up a can of worms.” They don’t want to sell you green cabinets because it’s “too trendy.” But if you wanted green cabinets, blue cabinets, even orange cabinets, any good Designer would happily accept that and Design your New Kitchen in a way to NOT make it look dated. The key is knowing how to Design. There are certain things we would steer you away from that would end up looking bad after using it. Like wood countertops by your sink. We’re not going to give you things that will fail. There’s a balance of trusting your gut but also listening to the expertise of your Designer.

You really should be looking at plywood construction cabinetry. Unless of course you just need something fast and cheap like for a rental or for flipping a house or something. Maybe you’ve just bought your first home and you want something that looks a little better than what’s there now to hold you over… There’s lots of reasons to buy those kinds of cabinets. Totally understandable! But, if you are in your forever home, you’re only going to remodel your Kitchen one time. You want something that will last. Make sure you ask all kinds of questions like, what are the cabinet sides made of? How many coats of finish are on this? What are the drawer boxes like? If they don’t know much about the brand or are being weirdly vague, it may not be the best brand of cabinets. Do some research online too! What are other people saying? And keep an eye on promotions! Not only for cabinets but appliances and things too!
